Applying a Security Interest Application

You can apply a security interest application to a vehicle while processing the following types of transactions:

• Title and registration
• Salvage title
• In transit title

Once a security interest application has been added, it appears in the SI Application Search Results window after the prequalifier window when you start a transaction for a vehicle that has an SI application pending. You can also open the SI Application Search Results window by clicking Search SI App on the transaction window.

To apply a security interest application

• On the SI Application Search Results window, select Apply next to the SI application you want to apply and click Continue.

  Use the escrow account from the security interest holder to pay the security interest fee.
