Disposing of a Plate

Dispose of a plate to purge its association with a vehicle in MOVRS. You do not need to dispose a plate if it is transferred to a new vehicle.

To dispose of a plate

1. On the VRT menu, select Plate Maintenance > Dispose Plate.

   The Dispose Plate Prequalifier window appears.

2. Enter the plate number that you want.
3. Click Continue.

   The Dispose Plate window appears.

4. Enter the plate disposition and date.
5. Click Save.

   The plate is disposed and is no longer associated with a vehicle.
