Permit and Permit Replacement Questions

1. How do I issue a thirty day permit?
   1. On the VRT menu, click Permit Transactions > Issue Permit.
   2. On the Issue Permit Prequalifier window, enter the vehicle and customer information and click Continue.
   3. On the Application tab of the Issue Permit window, select 30-Day Temporary under the Permit Type drop down list.
   4. Enter an Effective Date.
   5. Enter an Expiration Date.
   6. Enter the customer's insurance information under the Insurance tab.
   7. Complete the transaction.
2. What do I do when a permit is damaged and the customer needs a replacement?
   1. On the VRT menu, click Permit Transactions > Manage Permit.
   2. On the Manage Permit Prequalifier window, enter the vehicle and customer information and click Continue.
   3. On the Application tab of the Manage Permit window, select Replaced in the Permit Status drop-down list.
   4. Complete the transaction.
