Creating a Customer Record

Add a customer when you need to process a transaction for someone who does not have a record in the application or when you need to add a new customer to an existing account. When you create a new customer record, you can add an alias or DBA to the customer record. Then if a search for a customer's legal name does not return any results, you can search for the customer's name as an alias or DBA.

Important: Information you enter in the 3M MVS Console is case sensitive. When you add a customer name and address, you should enter it with the appropriate case.
