Determining Inventory Quantities by Location

You can determine inventory quantities by location, to verify consumption availability or in preparation to move inventory from one location to the other.

The system automatically reduces quantities as inventory is consumed. Therefore, the quantities you see should be the actual amounts that are available.

To determine inventory quantities by location

1. On the Inventory menu, select Manage Inventory.

   The Manage Inventory window appears.

2. Under Inventory Search, select the inventory Location, Physical Inventory Location, Inventory Class, and Inventory Type you want to determine.
3. Select any other search filters that may apply.
4. Click Continue.

   The inventory that exists at the location you specified appears in the grid area on the View Inventory tab.
