Keep the following points in mind to achieve the best results when searching for records.
Searches return the records of customers who currently or have in the past matched the search parameters you enter. For example, if a customer named Jane Smith gets married and changes her name to Jane Carlson, her records will be included in the results of a search on the name Jane Smith. However, it is her current name, Jane Carlson, that appears in the search results.
Many types of searches return a maximum of 250 records. If the record you want does not appear in the 250 listed, enter narrower search parameters and search again.
When you perform a customer search by name, be sure to select Include SI under SI Option and to select Exact Match if you want to return all customers (up to 250) with the exact name you enter.
