You can view the following reports to help you with the merge customer process:
The Customer Summary report displays all candidates merged to the target when viewing the target customer record. It also displays the target customer’s name when viewing a candidate that was merged. For information on generating a Customer Summary report, see Generating a Customer Report.
The Merge Customer Error report displays errors generated during the merge process. These errors are listed on the report under the Failure Reason. If a target caused an error, the group did not merge and the failure reason appears on the main row.
If a candidate caused an error, the candidate did not merge with the group and the target is listed with a blank failure reason. When you expand the target, the candidates are listed and a failure reason appears next to the candidate that caused the error.
