License Plates

Aside from actually assigning license plates to vehicles, you can reserve specific plates, order limited use plates, and order special plates.

When you process a vehicle registration, you assign a regular or special non-personalized plate out of inventory or you can move a plate from one vehicle to another. If the customer wants a different type of plate, you can order the following types of plates in MOVRS:

• Personalized special plates and qualifying plates.
• Sample plates.
• Customer managed plates, such as a dealer, limited use, transporter, or official plates.
