Removing a Customer Record from a Group

You can remove a candidate from a group if it does not belong. Before you remove the candidate, open the Customer Maintenance window and correct the information that caused the customer record to be included in the merge customer candidates group. When you remove a candidate from a group, it remains a unique customer record in the database.

To remove a customer from a group
  1. On the Tools menu, select Merge Customer > Manage Merge Customer Candidates.

    The Manage Merge Customer Candidates window appears.

  2. Click Remove.

    The candidate is removed from the group.
