Use the Manage Merge Customer Candidates window to approve merging multiple customer records for the same customer into one record. The approved customer records are merged at the end of the week by an automated process.
To open the Manage Merge Customer Candidates window:

Target |
The following information applies to the target customer.

Remove |
Click to remove the customer record from the list. The customer record is not merged and remains a unique record in the database. |
Swap |
Click to use the customer record as the target for the customer record. |
Cust # |
Displays the customer number for the customer record. |
Name |
Displays the customer name for the customer record. |
DOB |
Displays the date of birth for the customer record. |
SSN |
Displays the Social Security Number for the customer record. |
Drivers License |
Displays the driver's license number for the customer record. |
Gender |
Displays the gender of the customer on the customer record. |
Exceptions |
Displays whether the customer has an exception for the customer record. |
Address |
Displays the address for the customer record. |
Refresh |
Click to refresh the information. |
Skip Group |
Click to skip the group. The group remains in the merge customer candidates and will be available again one hour after you skip it. |
Approve Group |
Click to allow the group to be merged at the end of the week and move to the next record. |
Remove Group |
Click to eliminate a group from the merge candidates. All customer records in the group will remain unique records in the database. |
Close |
Click to close the window. |
