Customer Signatures Window

Purpose

Use the Customer Signatures window to specify the customer you are capturing a signature for or to view the signatures that have been captured for customers related to a given transaction. The system allows you to capture up to nine customers' signatures for a given transaction.

If, after capturing a signature and closing this window, you cancel the transaction from which you launched this window, the system will remove the captured signature from the digital image repository.

Window element

Usage

Legal Name

Displays the lawful name of each customer and security interest holder associated with the vehicle.

Relationship

Displays the association of the corresponding customer and/or security interest holder to the vehicle, such as Owner, Primary Operator, and so on.

Customer Number

Displays the system-generated identification number assigned to the customer record.

Collected

Displays whether a signature for the corresponding customer has been collected.

Sign

Click to launch the signature pad software and capture the signature.

Close

Click to close the window without saving.
