Use the Disabled Placard window to issue a permanent or temporary disabled placard to a customer.
To open the Disabled Placard window:
The Issue Disabled Placard window is composed of the following:

The common area at the top of this window displays basic information about the active vehicle. Likewise, the buttons on the bottom are for the window as a whole, regardless of which tab is showing.

Usage |

Location |
Select the location through which you want to process the transaction. The locations that you can select are limited based on your user login. |
Set |
To save the transaction in an existing set that contains other transactions, select the set number. Otherwise, select New Set. |
Search Placard |

Customer Information |
This information is from the customer record. It is automatically populated when you search for a customer or an existing placard. It is not editable in this window. |
Commit |
Click to save the transaction information and complete the transaction. Upon finalization of the transaction, if a disabled plate is issued, the system will generate a Disabled ID card for review and printing. |
Validate |
Click to check the transaction information for errors, discretionary edits, and warnings. If any are found, the Error Worksheet window appears. Otherwise, a message appears notifying you that the transaction validated successfully. |
Hold |
Click to save the transaction to complete it later. To access it later, complete the prequalifier window again to access the Search WIP window or choose Work Management > Set Manager to open the View Transaction Sets window. |
Revert |
Click to reset the window information to the values that appeared when the window opened. |
Cancel |
Click to close the window without saving. |

Customer Number |
Displays the system-generated number assigned to the customer. |
Placard # |
Enter a valid placard number. |
Placard Type |
Select either Temporary Placard or Permanent Placard. |
Expiration Month |
Enter the number (1, 2...12) of the expiration month. |
Expiration Year |
Enter the four-digit year of the placard expiration. |
Comment |
If needed, enter a remark. This is not a required field. |
Documentation Supplied |
Select the check box if the appropriate documentation is presented. This is a required field. |
Disposition Reason |
This field is only available after a placard is successfully issued. When disposing of a placard, you must select an appropriate reason from the list. |
Reprint |
To reprint the disabled ID associated with the highlighted placard, click the Ellipsis button. |
Add Row |
Click to issue a new placard. |
Delete Row |
Select the placard row and click to delete the record. |
Use this tab to review the documents required for the transaction or to add a document presented by the customer to support the transaction.

Displays a check mark for any documents required for the transaction. |
Received |
Select to indicate that the customer presented the corresponding document to support the transaction. |
Documentation Description |
Displays the description of documents on the corresponding row. If you add a new document, select the appropriate description. |
Document Reference # |
Enter the reference number from the actual document that was presented to support the transaction. |
Comment |
Enter a comment regarding the document presented to support the transaction. |
Scanned |
Select to indicate that the document has been scanned. |
Scan Later |
Select to indicate that the document will be scanned later. |
Remove Document |
Click to remove the selected document from this transaction. |
Scan |
Click to scan a document for this transaction. |
Scan All Later |
Click to indicate the documents for this transaction will be scanned at a later time. The system places a check mark in the Scan Later box for the documents that have been marked as received. When the transaction is finalized, the system generates an image cover sheet which contains a bar code related to this transaction. You can use this image cover sheet to collect and organize the documents that are designated to be scanned at a later time. |
