Use the Notes Management window to view, add, and edit notes.
To open the Notes Management window:

Source Record ID |
Displays the identification number of the source record for which you are viewing notes. |
Source Record Description |
Displays the description of the source record for which you are viewing notes. |
Help |
Click to launch the online help for the Notes Management window. |
New Note |
Click to open the New Note window and add a note to the source record. |
Show History/Hide History |
Click to show or hide all notes from history, including those that were deleted. |
Subject |
Displays the subject of the corresponding note. A plus/minus sign appears next to the note if it has other notes appended to it. Use the plus/minus sign to expand or contract the note thread. |
Originator |
Displays the name of the user who created the corresponding note. |
Created |
Displays the date when the corresponding note was created. |
Created By |
Displays the user ID of the user who created the corresponding note. |
Subject |
Displays the subject of the active note. |
Created |
Displays the date on which the active note was created. |
Importance |
Displays the priority assigned to the active note. |
Active |
Displays whether the corresponding note is active or not. |
Created By |
Displays the user ID of the user who created the active note. |
Confidential |
Displays true if the active note is confidential. Displays false if the active note is not confidential. |
Type |
Displays the kind of active note. |
Source |
Displays the source record description to which the active note applies. |
Note text |
Displays the text of the active note. If the note is confidential, the note text does not display here; you must click View Note to see it. |
View Note |
Appears only if the active note is confidential. Click to open the View Note window and view the note text. |
Append Note |
Click to open the Append Note window and add an appended note to the active note. |
Edit Note |
Click to open the Edit Note window and edit the active note. You can edit a note only if you created it. |
Delete Note |
Click to open the Delete Note window and delete the active note. You can delete a note only if you created it. |
