SI Application Window

Purpose

Use the SI Application window to submit a security interest application for a vehicle that has not yet been registered.

Navigation

To open the SI Application window:

On the VRT menu, select SI Application > Add SI Application.
On the SI Application Prequalifier window, enter identification parameters and click Continue.
If the Search window appears displaying no results, click Cancel.

Detailed Description

SI Application window element descriptions

Window element	Usage
Security Interest	SI Holder—Displays the name of the security interest holder. SI Holder Address—Displays the address of the security interest holder. If more than one address for the security interest holder has been defined, select the appropriate one here. Recorded Date—Displays the date on which the transaction is processed.
Vehicle	VIN—Displays the vehicle identification number. Make—Displays the vehicle make. Year—Displays the vehicle year.
Customer	Add—Click to display the Search window to add another customer to the grid. Buttons—Displays buttons you can use to prioritize or remove rows on the grid. —Click to remove the row from the grid. —Click to move the row up in priority. —Click to move the row down in priority. Ident—Displays the type of customer identification and the associated identification numbers. Name—Displays the customer's name.
Target County	Select the county where the application for security interest is made.
Security Interest Type	Select the security interest type, such as Regular.
Comment	Enter a comment of up to 255 characters.
Transaction Fees	Displays the total amount due for the transaction. The fees update when you change the relevant information on the window.
Pay Now	Click to process payment for the transaction immediately on the Payment Manager - Statement window in the Cash Drawer and Finance online help.
Cancel	Click to close the window without completing the transaction.
