Purpose

Use the View Note window to view notes marked as confidential. This option is available for confidential notes only. The text for notes that are not confidential appears directly on the Notes Management window.

Navigation

To open the View Note window:

On the window for the record to which you want to view notes, click the note icon.
The Notes Management window appears.
Select the note you want to view.
Click View Note.

Detailed Description

View Note window element descriptions

Window element	Usage
Help	Click to launch the online help.
Originator	Displays the name of the user who originally created the note.
Importance	Displays the priority of the note.
Type	Displays the kind of note.
Note Subject	Displays the descriptive subject for the note.
Confidential	Displays if the note is marked as confidential.
Note Text	Displays the note text.
Cancel	Click to close the window without saving.
