Delete Note Window

Purpose

Use the Delete Note window to delete a note. You can delete a note only if you originally created it.

Navigation

To open the Delete Note window:

On the window of the record for which you want to view notes, click the note icon.
The Notes Management window appears.
Select the note you want to delete.
Click Delete Note.

Detailed Description

Delete Note window element descriptions

Window element	Usage
Help	Click to launch the online help.
Originator	Displays the name of the user who originally created the note. You cannot delete the note unless you created it.
Importance	Displays the priority of the note.
Type	Displays the kind of the note.
Note Subject	Displays the descriptive subject for the note.
Confidential	Selected if the note was marked as confidential.
Note Text	Displays the note contents.
Delete	Click to delete the note and close the window.
Cancel	Click to close the window without deleting the note.
