Insert Plate Window

Purpose

Use the Insert Plate window to insert a plate that is eligible to be assigned to a vehicle but is not in the database for some reason.

Insert Plate window element descriptions

Window element

Usage

Plate Number

Enter the plate number.

Plate Configuration

Select the type of plate, such as Courtesy, Dealer, Fleet, Sample, and so on.

County

Active only after the plate configuration is entered. Click the county for which the plate was issued.

Plate Customer #

Displays the customer number.

Get Customer

Click to open the Search window to obtain customer information.

Personalized

Active only for plate configurations that can be personalized. Select if the plate is personalized.

Amateur Radio

Select if the customer has an Amateur Radio plate. This option is active only if an Amateur Radio option was selected in the Plate Configuration drop-down.

Handicapped

Select if the customer has a Handicapped plate. This option is active only if a Handicapped option was selected in the Plate Configuration drop-down.

Save

Click to save the plate and close the window.

Cancel

Click to close the window without inserting a plate.
