Add Customer Managed Plate Window

Purpose

Use the Add Customer Managed Plate window to add a customer managed plate to MOVRS. A customer managed plate is not from inventory and is not associated with a vehicle in MOVRS.

Navigation

To open the Add Customer Managed Plate window:

On the Plate menu, select Customer Managed Plate.
The Search Customer Managed Plate window appears.
Enter parameters to make sure the plate you want to add does not already exist.
Click Search.
The Customer Managed Plate window appears.
Click Add.

Detailed Description

Add Customer Managed Plate window element descriptions

Window element	Usage
Customer #	Enter the full or partial customer identification number. You can enter any identification number listed for the customer. For example, DL number or SSN.
Customer Search	Click to open the Search window and find the customer you want.
Customer Name	Appears when you select a customer using the search option. Displays the name of the customer you selected.
Plate #	Enter the number of the customer managed plate.
Plate Configuration	Select the plate type, such as Dealer Lg, Demo, and so on.
Sample Plate	Select this check box if the plate is a sample plate.
Disposition	Select the plate status, such as Lost, Removed, Stolen, and so on.
Created Date	Select or type the date when the customer managed plate was created.
Disposition Date	Select or type the date of the plate disposition was entered.
Save	Click to save the plate and close the window.
Cancel	Click to close without saving.
