Use the Select Ownership window to specify which customer is applying to receive a credit for registration fees or property taxes paid on a vehicle. This window lists more than one ownership only if ownership of the vehicle has been transferred more than once before each registration period expired, and only if there is still a credit remaining for each registration period.
To open the Select Ownership window:

Displays the date that the vehicle associated with the owner(s) listed was purchased. |
Created Date |
Displays the date that the credit/refund transaction was initiated. |
Disp Date |
Displays the date that the vehicle was sold that they're trying to get credit for. |
Disp Type |
Displays the disposition of the plate that was on the vehicle for which the customer is applying for a credit or refund of fees and taxes. This is the value that was entered in the Registration Fee and Property Tax Credit area of the Title and Registration Prequalifier window (if one was entered there). |
Resident |
Displays whether the listed customer is a resident of Kansas. Resident status affects whether a property tax credit or refund will be received. |
Name |
Displays the name of the vested party or parties. These are the owners, lessees, or primary operators of the vehicle |
Residency Addr |
Displays the home address of the corresponding customer. |
County |
Displays the county in which the home address is located for the corresponding customer. |
Vestment Type |
Displays how the listed customer is related to the vehicle; for example, owner, lessee, and so on. |
Priority |
Displays the priority of the listed customer in relation to the vehicle among vested parties of the same type. |
Select |
Click to select the highlighted customer and close the window. |
Cancel |
Click to close the window without saving. |
