Use the Search Correspondence window to find records of correspondence with customers.
Enter as much information as you have for the correspondence you want to find. The more information you enter, the fewer search results you will have to sort through.
The 3M MVS Console returns a maximum of 250 search results.

- —To open the Search window and find the customer for whom you want to find correspondence, click the Ellipsis button.
 To clear the customer identification number, click Clear. - —Click the template used to create the correspondence you want to find, such as Generic Memo, Customer Check Return, and so on.
- —Click the kind of transaction the correspondence was about, such as Accident Detail, Add/Release SI, and so on.
- —Enter the topic line from the correspondence you want to find. All correspondence with a topic line beginning with the value you enter and matching the other search parameters appears in the search results.
- —Click the site from which the correspondence originated.
- —Enter the first date in the range you want to search.
- —Enter the last date in the range you want to search.
- —Select to find both sent and received correspondence.
- —Select to find correspondence sent only.
- —Select to find correspondence received only.

The following information about the corresponding correspondence displays after you click Search.
- —Displays a check mark if the correspondence was sent. If you click the plus sign, the window displays who the correspondence was sent to.
- —Displays a check mark if the correspondence was received.
- —Displays the template on which the correspondence was based.
- —Displays the topic of each piece of correspondence that meets the parameters you entered.
- —Displays the date each piece of correspondence was created.
- —Displays the agent who created or received the correspondence.
- —Displays the kind of transaction.
- —Click the drop-down arrow to open the comment text field to read, edit, or add a comment. If you want to save changes to the comment, click OK. To close the comment without saving changes, click Cancel.
- —Displays the date returned correspondence was received and scanned into the system.
- —Click to view an image of the correspondence, if available.
