Starting Your Day

At the start of your day, you might perform the following tasks to get set up:

1. Open the 3M MVS Console.

   For more information, see Opening the 3M MVS Console.

2. Configure your console to use your location, your cash drawer, your printers, and your user preference settings.

   For more information, see Adding a User Profile, Modifying a User Profile, or Switching Your User Profile.

   Tip: Make sure you have the correct amount of cash in your cash drawer.

3. Check your inventory to make sure you have enough for the day. If you do not, transfer inventory to your location.

   For more information, see Reassigning/Moving Inventory.

   Tip: Before you begin, make sure that the beginning plate in inventory is the same as the beginning plate in your box of plates.
