Updating a Vehicle Description

Authorized users can update vehicle descriptions. MOVRS uses the updated descriptions to prepopulate certain fields when a record for a vehicle of that type is added to the system.

To update a vehicle description

1. On the VRT menu, select Manage Vehicle Description.

   The Manage Vehicle Description Prequalifier window appears.

2. In the Search By area, enter the year, make, model, and VIN Prefix of the vehicle whose description you want to update.
3. Click Search.

   The results appear in the grid.

4. Double-click the definition you want to update.

   The Manage Vehicle Description window appears.

5. Update the vehicle description information.
6. Click Save.

   The updated vehicle description is saved.
