MOVRS Locations and Cash Drawers

A location is a physical location within the department office structure. Each county is a location, and within each county there might be additional unique locations. For example, the location of Franklin County might have a back office location, a courthouse location, and a satellite office location.

Each location has one or more cash drawers. A cash drawer can be used in multiple locations, but in only one location at a time.

MOVRsS location and cash drawer relationship example diagram

Users are assigned to work in distinct locations and each transaction is processed through a distinct location.

Multiple cash drawers can be in use in one location at time and multiple users at the same location can use the same cash drawer at one time.
