Transactions

A transaction is an interaction with a customer that includes the customer information, product purchased, and dollar amount owed, if any (transactions may or may not require payment). Transactions may include:

• Items or services sold to a customer.
• Payments received from the customer.

When you create a transaction that requires payment, you can either process it for payment immediately by clicking Pay Now or save it for payment later by clicking Pay Later. Following are examples of when you might save the transaction for payment later:

• The customer does not have a method of payment currently available.
• The customer wants to pay for multiple transactions with one single payment.
