Ordering a Customer Managed Plate

You can order a plate that is not tied to a registration in MOVRS.

To order a customer managed plate
  1. On the Plate menu, select Customer Managed Plate.

    The Search Customer Managed Plate window appears.

  2. Enter the identification number for the customer for whom you want to order a plate and click Search.

    If you do not know the customer identification number, click Customer Search and use the Search window to find the customer you want.

    The Customer Managed Plate window appears.

  3. Click Add to add a plate.

    The Add Customer Managed Plate window appears.

  4. Enter the plate information and click Save.

    The plate information appears in the Customer Managed Plate window.

  5. Click Save.

    The record for the customer managed plate is created in the system.

  6. If there is a charge for the customer managed plate, use a miscellaneous transaction to collect payment.

    Note: The actual ordering of the customer managed plate is completed outside of the MOVRS software, and is not tracked in the MOVRS inventory management system.
