Printing an Approved Title

If you are authorized, you can print titles using either of the two methods described in this section. First, however, you must have been assigned proper system permissions, you must have a profile set up that uses the correct location, and you must set that profile as your default profile.

The title printing process varies by the type of title and is dependent on what happens prior to printing:

To print an approved title

Authorized users can specify to print a title as part of approving a title. To do so, on the Approve Title window, select either the Print Title or Print Immediately check box before clicking Approve. These check boxes are disabled if a security interest holder has been associated with the title. For more information, see Approving a Pending Title.

To print a title is after it is approved (that is, when it is already in the print queue), complete the following steps:

  1. On the VRT menu, select Approve Title > Manage Title Pending Print.

The Manage Title Pending Print Form appears.

  2. Enter the search criteria to find the title you want to print.
  3. Click Search.

The grid area populates with approved titles pending print that match the search criteria you entered.

  4. Select the title you want to print.
  5. Click Print.

The title prints to the title printer that has been configured for you.
